Trial flying lessons

20 minutes - £49.00

A thrilling taster of the magic of flight . . . and an opportunity to take the controls with your instructor.

30 minutes - £75.00

A brief introduction to the world of flight – a chance to handle the controls under supervision of an instructor and see how it is done!

60 minutes - £121.00

This is the real thing! A chance to be a pilot for a whole hour… flying for all but the take off and landing with expert instruction. After this you will be hooked!

LAND AWAY SPECIAL! - £199.00

Want that little bit more? Take a trip with your instructor to land at another nearby airfield. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst talking about your initial flight. Then put your skills in to practice on your return flight to our home airfield and collect your certificate. Approx. 1.5 hours flying time

All versions of the trial lesson include a gift voucher, 10-minute pre-flight brief and a certificate recording your flight.

Training packages

5 hour course- £499.00

Want to experience a little more? Then the 5 hour package is for you. This includes a minimum of 4 hours flying, a one hour detailed briefing, club membership, the BMAA training syllabus, the Microlight Pilot's Handbook and a NPPL training manual together with a logbook for you to record your first flights!

25 hour course – £3,250.00

The full minimum required hours flying course, including 25 hours dual instruction, including an initial one hour briefing session about the course and a further one hour on navigation later on. We also include all the NPPL(M) course books, a BMAA syllabus, equipment and a flight bag .... all you need to get your wings!

Membership of Fly CB Flying Club

All those flying with Fly CB must join the Charlie Bravo Flying Club. This is free for trial flights and for the 5 and 25 - hour packages. There is an annual charge of £ 80.00 for students, syndicate shareholders and hirers.
